The English Riviera is set to host stars from the hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing in a night of dancing to raise money for charity.

There is a treat for Strictly Come Dancing fans together with keen dancers this Spring when two of the hit show's professional dancers, Camilla Dallerup and Ian Waite, will be showcasing their dance spectacular in Paignton.

Camilla reached the semi final in last year's show, dancing with Blue Peter presenter partner Gethin Jones.

Ian danced with Penny Lancaster Stewart, and together they were the sixth couple to be voted off the show.

In the Paignton show, which takes place on 8th March 2008 at Beverley Park, it isn't just Camilla and Ian who will be doing all the work.

Audience members will also get a rare chance to take part in a dance master-class to learn a new dance and a few steps. Afterwards Camilla and Ian will also be available for photos and autograph signing.

Tim Barrs, organiser of the 'Strictly Come Dancing' event, said: "This is the second year running that Camilla and Ian have kindly danced their showcase for us. As a result, last year we were delighted to donate £1,000 to the Devon Air Ambulance Trust plus a further £1,000 to St Luke's Church in Torquay."

"This year we are once again supporting the Devon Air Ambulance Trust, plus The Lodge, which is Torquay Hospital's cancer support unit."
