The Devon Air Ambulance Trust's annual Golf Day will this year take place at the prestigious Exeter Golf & Country Club in Exeter.
Keen golfers are needed to make this tournament a great success and it is sure to be a fulfilling day for more than one reason as not only will competitors get a full 18 holes of golf and a 2 course evening meal, with prize giving, but also chances to win one of numerous prizes available, including the longest drive and nearest the pin.
Caroline Creer, fundraising director of the Devon Air Ambulance Trust, says: "We are urging all keen golfers to come along and help raise essential funds needed for Devon's two Air Ambulances. We receive fantastic support from the golfing community and have on occasion had to land on various club fairways in order to help ill or injured golfers!"
"Even if you aren't a golfer, there are a couple of ways you could still help make this day a great fundraising success. For example would your company like to sponsor one of the 18 holes, or perhaps donate a prize for the raffle to be held on the day?"
The golf tournament takes place on Thursday 24th July and team entry (of 4) costs £160 per team, which is an 18 hole 4 ball team event Stableford ¾ handicap, and also includes a 2 course evening meal, followed by the prize giving. Ladies add 5 shots after calculation (any combination - two scores to count per hole).
Entry forms are available to download via www.daat.org (follow events diary links), by request via email at info@daat.org or by phone on 01392 466666. If you would like to discuss sponsorship or donation of a raffle prize, ring Mandy Leaman on 01392 466666.
