U 60311

The U 60311 club opened in an abandoned metro subway in the centre of Frankfurt's bank and shopping district in 1998. The venue has been awarded several times and praised as a piece of trendsetting architecture. The club, with a capacity of 1,000 guests, is situated on two floors which are separated by a sound absorbing glass wall.

Right from the start, U 60311 (U stands for "Underground" and "60311" for the post code) focused on electronic music and nationally and internationally well-known DJs were welcomed to the club (e.g., Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Paul van Dyk, Sven Väth, Fatboy Slim, Deep Dish). In 2006, U 60311 was voted the second best club nationwide in Germany.
