Enjoy a tasty Sunday lunch at Dart Marina!

19th February 2008

Sunday lunch is back on the menu at Dartmouth's luxurious Dart Marina Hotel.

Served in the River Restaurant, which has stunning views overlooking the River Dart, Sunday lunches at Dart Marina will change with the seasons to reflect the abundance of local flavours from the pastures and waters around the South Hams.

"Many of our regular visitors have asked us to bring back Sunday lunches so we have listened," said River Restaurant executive head chef Mark Streeter.

Mark Godfrey, of Dart Marina, added: "Mark has been out and about talking to producers and on the menu there will be the best examples of locally reared meat he can lay his hands on.

"Also, Creedy Carver chickens which, for people who have not yet tasted them, bring back all the memories of roast chicken from the past.

"We will serve Sunday lunch in the River Restaurant so whatever the weather there will be something to watch as the river floats by."

The Sunday lunch menu typically includes delicious roast rib of local beef, roast breast of Creedy Carver Chicken with bread sauce, fillet of gilthead bream, traditional bread and butter Pudding, local cheeses and home made ice creams. Three courses cost just £14.95.

Bookings can be made on 01803 832580. For further information about events at Dart Marina, visit www.dartmarina.com.
